Robyn Chatwood
Robyn is an information technology partner whose practice specialises in e-commerce law and data protection and privacy, especially the privacy aspects of new forms of technology such as artificial intelligence, payment platforms, crypto currencies and augmented / virtual reality. Robyn is part of the leading cyber-security and privacy practice at Dentons (having practised for many years in the UK, before returning to Australia recently) and has advised across all sectors including global compliance strategy, privacy impact assessments, data breach and incident response, international data transfers, customer data strategy, data retention and data exploitation. Prior to her legal career, Robyn was a senior executive in the oil industry and had roles where she led risk and controls assessments.
Robyn has recently authored the chapter on Australian cyber security and data protection laws for a leading publisher.
