Emmanuelle Bartoli, CIPP/E
Emmanuelle Bartoli is Vice President, Head of Data, Cyber and Strategic Supply at Capgemini. Capgemini is a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services. Emmanuelle is committed to providing pragmatic and business-oriented legal solutions in order to support operational staff in a legal changing environment where data is key.
Before joining Capgemini, Emmanuelle was a qualified lawyer practicing in International law firms where she focused on complex data protection issues including international data transfers, cyber security, and compliance programs. Her clients were able to benefit from her previous experience as Group Data Protection Officer during her time at a major IT Company. Emmanuelle started her career at the CNIL where she was legal counsel at the International and European Department. She managed mainly the BCR review mechanism and participated with the drafting and adoption of a different opinion by Article 29 Working Group (former European Board of Data Protection). She also took part in the discussions initiated by the CNIL with the European Commission as part of the drafting of the European Regulation 2016/679.
