Andrew “Dr. Drew” Bjerken has 20+ years of privacy, cyber, and intelligence experience. He currently serves as the Global Chief Privacy Officer for Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW). In this capacity he is responsible for all aspects of privacy and data governance across all MVW brands; Marriott Vacation Club International, Sheraton Vacation Club, Westin Vacation Club, Grand Residence Club, Ritz-Carlton Club, St. Regis Residence Club, Aqua Aston Hospitality, Interval International, Hyatt Vacation Club, and several other brands spanning 90+ countries.

Before this role Drew served as the Chief Information Security & Privacy Officer at Catalina Marketing and NIU. In both roles he was responsible for all aspects of information security, cyber security, and privacy. Beyond that, Drew’s background includes serving as a Director at ADP where he was responsible for directing cyber threat management, intelligence, & fraud monitoring/response.

Drew is a proud U.S. Air Force veteran where he started his career flying information warfare missions before transitioning to a role where he planned/executed large-scale information warfare operations to include commanding USAF red team vulnerability assessments which replicated advanced persistent threats (APTs), insider threats, social engineering, and physical attacks against DoD facilities & networks. Most notably he commanded the joint red team for the 1st Cyber Flag involving red teams from the NSA, DOJ, DHS, academia, & all services.

Drew has spoken as a privacy, cyber security, information warfare, and threat SME at numerous venues to include, RSA, BlackHat, and the U.S. Congress. He has a BA in Criminal Justice, master’s in forensic science, and a doctorate in business administration with a specialty in computers and information security.
