Diletta De Cicco, CIPP/E
Diletta De Cicco is a legal officer at the European Data Protection Board (EDPB). Before joining the EDPB, Diletta was a Counsel in the Cybersecurity, Data & Privacy department of Squire Patton Boggs and worked in various international law firms. She assisted clients to comply with existing EU and national cybersecurity, data, and privacy laws. As a lawyer, she helped organizations in implementing responsible AI programmes and preparing for the upcoming EU AI Act. Diletta is also part the research group DRAILS (Data, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Law and Society) of the university UCLouvain, a member of W@Privacy and IAPP Diversity in Privacy Board. In 2021, she was selected as one of the 100+ Women in cyber in Europe by Women4Cyber
