About the IAPP

Clarisse De La Cerda CIPP/E, Partner, Bhering Advogados, Rio de Janeiro, RJ

Clarisse has special legal expertise in Information Technology Law, Technology Agreements, Intellectual Property Law, and Personal Data Protection.

Clarisse began her professional career advising Brazilian small companies in connection with Entertainment Law issues and government funded cultural projects. 

After obtaining a master’s degree in Intellectual Property from a prestigious Brazilian university, Clarisse started to focus on Technology Agreements. 

On 2017, Clarisse obtained an LL.M. degree in Law, Science and Technology, from Stanford Law School. 

Currently, Clarisse is a partner at Bhering Advogados, a law firm specialized in Intellectual Property, where she provides full advice on technology transfer agreements and licensing. She is also responsible for issues related to personal data protection and privacy, IP protection, and legal tech compliance, among others, assisting multinational companies in various industries.
