About the IAPP

Barbara is an experienced compliance professional with a background in global employment law and data protection. She has led privacy initiatives and navigated complex legal landscapes in fast-paced and highly regulated industries.

Barbara holds a Master of Laws from Northumbria University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Transformation from Griffith College, and an International Diploma in Governance, Risk, and Compliance from the International Compliance Association.

She is a Fellow of the IAPP and holds multiple certifications, including Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) for Europe, US, Canada, and Asia, Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), Certified Data Protection Officer (C-DPO) and ISO 27001 ISMS Lead Implementer Certification.
