Privacy Manager

Jennifer works as Manager of Privacy Compliance at the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. There she supports member and business interests by providing strategic advice to find viable solutions for privacy compliance activities. She also teaches the “Artificial Intelligence & Data Privacy” course at Durham College’s Centre for Professional & Part-Time Leaning. 



Jennifer is a lawyer who worked in the tech & telecommunications industry for over 10 years. Prior to her legal career, she was a telecom consultant based in Boston. She has also held roles as counsel at a large Canadian telecom company, as well as at a small tech company with international clients.  



Her work in privacy has included everything from the negotiation of complex commercial agreements dealing with data and privacy, to responding to regulatory inquiries and creating advocacy strategies before government. She also enjoys leading group training and education activities about privacy and data-related topics. Jennifer holds degrees from the University of Toronto, the London School of Economics and Political Science and the University of Western Ontario.
