About the IAPP

Yoann E. A. Le Bihan is a former IT engineer, who spent 15-plus years advising clients in the financial and telecommunications industries before switching to his second career in law.

Now a solo practitioner licensed in California and the District of Columbia, Yoann lives in Europe (Luxembourg) while operating his remote practice in the Silicon Valley (San Jose, Calif.), advising high-tech startups and entrepreneurs in a broad range of transactional, non-litigious, matters with a focus on privacy, data protection, commercial agreements, and intellectual property. He is also "Of Counsel" in the Intellectual Property and Information & Communication Technology practice groups of the Luxembourg office of NautaDutilh, where he brings his unique blend of technical and legal skills for both transactional and litigation matters, including high-profile data protection administrative proceedings and e-commerce disputes.

Yoann holds CIPP/E and CIPM certifications, is a Fellow of Information Privacy of the IAPP, a member of the Society for Computers and Law, and an Advisor to the Executive Committee of the International Law and Immigration Section of the California Lawyers Association.
