About the IAPP

After over 15 years in IT as a freelance consultant, working in a wide variety of positions (as developer, systems & network engineer, team leader, and head of infrastructure), Yoann focused his interest on compliance and regulatory matters, especially in the area of privacy. As a consultant, he worked for some key players in the financial sector, such as NYSE, BNP Paribas, Clearstream / Deutsche Boerse, and Euronext.



Yoann moved into the aviation sector in 2018 as an IT Architect and is now Head of IT Operations at Luxair, the national air carrier and ground handling operator in Luxembourg.



Yoann holds a Bachelor of Science in IT from the CNAM (Paris, France), a Juris Doctor from Concord Law School (Los Angeles, CA) of Purdue University Global, and a Master of Laws (LL.M. in International Legal Practice) from the University of Law (London, UK). He is an active member of the State Bar of California and a Co-Founder and Co-Chair of the IAPP’s Luxembourg Chapter.
