About the IAPP

Dakota Blagg is the Privacy Program Owner for the Web Experiences organization at Microsoft, which includes Search, Ads, News, and Maps. Dakota approaches privacy with a focus on bridging the gap between regulatory requirements and building technologies that promote user trust, confidence, and data protection. 

Prior to Microsoft, Dakota led teams across compliance, security, privacy, and information technology. Dakota is a graduate of the University of Washington and holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
