Data protection is one of Ken-Ying’s main practice areas.  Ken-Ying established and currently heads Lee and Li’s personal data protection practice group.  She has been advising multinational and local clients for data protection compliance issues for more than 15 years.  Recently, she also advises Taiwanese companies for GDPR compliance.



Ken-Ying has been delivering speeches or conducting training programs on the Personal Data Protection Act (the "PDPA") as well as GDPR for various companies and organizations.  She spoke as a panelist at the “Cybersecurity, Privacy and Data Protection” workshop of the 2nd Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum held in Singapore on June 17, 2011 to share the Taiwan experiences with the leaders in the cyberspace and data protection in the region.  She also spoke at various events/international conferences on data privacy/sharing economy/the right to be forgotten, etc.  In 2018, she held a GDPR seminar in February and participated in a seminar discussing the conflict between ICANN WHOIS and GDPR in May.



She was interviewed by several publications on the privacy law developments in Taiwan.  She also frequently writes for newspapers and magazines discussing the PDPA, GDPR, and the relevant impacts on the private sector.
