Group Privacy Ambassador

Jörn Wittmann is Group Privacy Ambassador at Volkswagen AG. In his role, among other topics, he is responsible for representing the group’s interests related to privacy, including respective relationship management and negotiations with all relevant stakeholders.

Jörn Wittmann is a jurist and certified data protection officer. Before joining Volkswagen AG, he was the Managing Director of SCOPE Europe, a Brussels-based monitoring body for Codes of Conduct, and the Managing Director of its holding SRIW (Self-Regulation Information Economy), a German non-profit organization. He started his career at the University of Göttingen, Germany, in the Department of Civil Law, Commercial and Economic Law, Comparative Law, Multimedia- and Telecommunication Law.
