Kristen Hilton, CIPP/US, CIPM

Kristen Hilton is a Senior Assistant Attorney General in the Civil Enforcement Division of the Oregon Department of Justice. In that role, Kristen handles data breach and privacy related issues impacting Oregonians, including violations of the Oregon Consumer Information Protection Act and the forthcoming Oregon Consumer Privacy Act. She frequently collaborates with other attorneys general offices on multistate investigations and was a lead negotiator in the Google location tracking matter that resulted in the largest multistate AG consumer privacy settlement to date.
Before joining the Oregon DOJ in 2020, Kristen spent 13 years in private practice as a commercial litigator, first in California and then in her hometown of Portland, Oregon. Kristen received her J.D. from UCLA School of Law and she has been a Certified Information Privacy Professional for the U.S. since 2017.
