Marcin Czarnecki, CIPP/E
Marcin Czarnecki is the Chief Privacy Counsel and Data Protection Officer at the World Foundation, which is the steward of the World Network's protocol supporting and growing the network. Previously, Marcin was the Chief Privacy Officer for PayU, one of the world's leaders in global payments and innovative fintech where he led the global privacy team. Before joining PayU, Marcin was supporting Prosus group portfolio companies in developing their global privacy programs. He also advised the group’s businesses on privacy aspects of M&A transactions, integrations and divestments. Prior to joining Prosus, for 10 years Marcin worked for an international law firm and advised on data protection, information technology and M&A in the TMT sector.
