Benjamin Kaplan, CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, FIP
Ben is currently a Privacy Engineer for Google within the Cloud organization, with a focus on the Business Applications Platform, Data Warehouses, and Functional Privacy Innovation. He has 7 years of privacy experience, from helping organizations build and operationalize their privacy programs to working internally to improve efficiency and automate privacy related processes such as data mapping, privacy reviews and impact assessments, consent management, and data subject rights workflows. Ben is most passionate about blending privacy and technology in a safe way and working collaboratively in a cross functional environment.
Prior to his role at Google, Ben got his start and found his passion for privacy at OneTrust before joining Ernst & Young's Data Protection and Privacy Practice and eventually working at Meta on their Information Governance team. Outside of work, you can find Ben on a run, spending time with his wife, or playing with his dog.
