William Fussey is a solicitor in EY Law’s Employment, Health & Safety and Privacy team. William advises both domestic and international clients on their obligations under the New Zealand Privacy Act, identifying data protection issues that may arise in various scenarios and providing detailed comparisons between New Zealand’s legislation and data protection legislation in other jurisdictions. William has written widely on potential reforms to the New Zealand legislation and the effect of the General Data Protection Regulation on New Zealand. William has an LLM with distinction, specializing in New Zealand privacy law.
