Michele has practiced as an entertainment, media & privacy attorney for 30+ years, representing clients across a spectrum of industries - from film & TV to toys & games, to technology and data privacy, with a particular focus on children & families. Michele has worked with major brands such as The Muppets, Hasbro, Crayola, Sony, and the WWE, and frequently consults with studios & creators on protecting and monetizing their intellectual property.

Building on her background in protecting the privacy rights of children, Michele works extensively with privacy clients in the entertainment and media space, from connected toys to geofencing concerts to virtual conferences and more. Michele is passionate about creatively solving cutting edge questions for her clients.

Co-Founder of Kidtoon Films and Cinedigm Entertainment, Michele pioneered digital theatrical distribution of event experiences in movie theatres around the globe. She is a co-creator of UT Austin’s Immersive Media program, and works with live action, animation, XR and gaming clients.

Michele recently helped build the brand and the business of BlakeSt House, a social club focused on wellness, owned by the Walton Family of Walmart fame. Part of the launch team, she designed and produced over 160 wholistic events founded on all forms of wellness, in a 15-month period, and 45 online gatherings during Q2 ‘20. During her tenure, membership at this elite club grew from zero to over 700 in 7 months.

Michele is the Board President for Austin’s unique Forklift Danceworks, Vice-Chair of the Entertainment and Sports Law section of the Austin Bar Association, the Programming Chair for Women in Toys, Entertainment & Licensing, and serves as a mentor at The Capital Factory, the un.inc and DivInc.
