Cynthia Jon-Ubabuco
Cynthia Jon-Ubabuco is Senior Counsel, Privacy at Wells Fargo. In this role, Cynthia provides legal guidance on domestic and multi-jurisdictional privacy and data protection matters. Cynthia also serves as the lead privacy attorney for APAC countries where Wells Fargo has a significant presence, such as India and the Philippines.
Before joining Wells Fargo, Cynthia was Assistant General Counsel, Enterprise Privacy at Bank of America. At Bank of America, Cynthia advised and partnered with her business, compliance, and risk partners to effectively review, implement, and deploy initiatives and programs impacted by privacy laws and regulations. Cynthia started her legal career at Countrywide Financial Corporation.
Cynthia received her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law, and her B.A. in Computer Science from Columbia University.
She holds the CIPP/US and CIPM certifications.
