About the IAPP

Lorenzo Conti is Equity Partner at Rucellai & Raffaelli Law Firm, an independent full-service law Firm with offices in Milan, Rome and Bologna. The Law Firm consists of 11 partners and circa 100 peoples between lawyers and staff.

Lorenzo is the Privacy Group Lead of the Firm and in his 25 years lasting experience in Privacy and Data Protection field has been providing assistance and advice to national and multi national companies in different economic sectors (e.g. media, insurance, steel, chemical, pharmaceutical, IT, electronic and consumer goods).

Furthermore, Lorenzo has gained consolidated experience in the field of IT and IP law and, especially, in the sector of the protection of trade secrets, copyright and unfair competition.

Lorenzo is a frequent lecturer on Privacy Law, IT and IP Law at national and international conferences and seminars and has several publications in these matters.

Lorenzo is Vice President of the U.A.E. (European Lawyer’s Union) an international association of lawyers specialised in European law, member of IBA and active member of the Foreign Affairs Committee (Commissione Rapporti Internazionali – CRINT) of the Milan Bar, in his capacity of responsible for the relationship with International Lawyers Associations.
