About the IAPP

As a seasoned lawyer, professor, and speaker, I bring a wealth of expertise to my role as a partner and Data Protection Officer (DPO) at Opice Blum Advogados, a Brazilian leading law firm specialized in tech law and data privacy. My credentials include being a Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP), a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E), a Certified Data Protection Officer/Brazil (CDPO/BR), and a Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) by IAPP and a Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE) by ISACA.

In addition to my professional accomplishments, I am also a co-editor and author of the book "Data Protection Officer (DPO)" published by Revista dos Tribunais (Thomson Reuters), and author of several articles, mostly focused on privacy management, DPO function and governance.
