Sean Baird is an associate at Davis Wright Tremaine. He focuses exclusively on the health care industry and counsels clients in various sectors on health care regulatory compliance matters, including those pertaining to HIPAA (privacy, security, and breach notification), Stark, the federal False Claims Act, and the Anti-Kickback Statute. Sean also advises clients in a variety of transactional issues, including mergers and acquisitions, licensing, and joint ventures. He has a strong background in the industry, having previously worked as a public health professional at Harvard University, Johns Hopkins University, the United States Agency of International Development, and various non-governmental organizations. He has extensive experience managing, designing, and evaluating large domestic and international public health programs.
