Victoria Beckman, CIPP/US, CIPM
Victoria is the Associate General Counsel for privacy and security at Shopify. Before joining Shopify, she led Microsoft’s Digital Crimes Unit for the Americas, where she managed a multidisciplinary team disrupting cybercrime across the Western hemisphere. Victoria has been recognized globally for her expertise and leadership in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, as well as her efforts to support women and minorities in the industry.
Prior to practicing law, Victoria was an industrial engineer in the technology and automotive sectors and a competitive figure skater for her native country of Colombia.
