Arianna Evers advises clients on complex privacy, data security, and consumer production issues arising under rapidly evolving federal and state requirements. She regularly assists clients across industries, from Fortune 500 companies to startups, with navigating a broad range of privacy-related issues, including legal requirements and best practices in emerging and changing areas of the law, such as AI, biometrics, online advertising, big data, and IoT. Arianna also represents clients in investigations brought by a variety of regulatory bodies, such as the FTC, state attorneys general, and the US Department of Health and Human Services Office of Civil Rights, in matters relating to privacy, data security, and alleged unfair and deceptive practices. Arianna also works closely with clients on data protection and incident preparedness and response, including conducting risk assessments and privacy impact assessments, service provider oversight, drafting incident response plans, running preparedness exercises, and evaluating and monitoring data security and privacy program compliance. Arianna leverages her many years as a trial attorney for technology companies in her work advising clients on how to identify, mitigate, and respond to regulatory and contractual risks in their business operations.
