About the IAPP

Saverio is a managing associate in the TMT global practice of the magic circle firm Linklaters. He assists predominantly multinationals operating in the finance, automotive, technology, and healthcare sectors and his area of practice covers data protection, cybersecurity, and technology-related contractual matters, with particular focus on GDPR compliance, cross-border data transfers, data breach and dawn-raid assistance, cloud and outsourcing agreements. He also focuses on critical aspects arising from the use of cutting edge technologies such as A.I., blockchain, geo-location, connected cars, online tracking solutions for behavioural advertising purposes, e-tools for HR management, whistleblowing hotlines, sensitive data processing, advanced video-surveillance systems, and wearable devices. Saverio completed an LL.M. at King’s College London and had an in-house experience in one of the largest European TV broadcaster. He was also involved as a legal advisor in the H2020 EU research programme for fintech-related projects. Speaker at conferences, seminars and training programs in data protection and tech law, Saverio is also a Fellow of the World Economic Forum and, in 2018, he spent a semester at the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution Centre in San Francisco working on A.I., blockchain, cross-border data flow, digital payments, and the related legal aspects.
