About the IAPP

Edwin Breukelman is a Program Manager for Privacy Compliance at Cisco. Before assuming his current role, he was the EMEAR Incident Commander for Cisco’s Data Protection and Privacy program combining his skills as a Critical Accounts Program manager with data privacy.

Prior to joining Cisco in 2011, Edwin has worked for 15 years in the Telecommunications industry for various international companies in both the Netherlands and Australia. In these companies he held positions in project / program management and customer support roles.

Edwin earned his BSc degree at the TH Rijswijk in the Netherlands. He is CIPP/E, CIPP/US and CIPM certified and was granted FIP recognition in 2020. Edwin also serves as a board member for the Telecommunications Chapter of the Dutch engineering society KIVI.
