About the IAPP

Geert is a member of the Litigation group and co-heads the Data protection and cybersecurity practice at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek. He covers all facets of data protection law in the EU and beyond. He is best known for assisting multinational companies in major enforcement actions by data protection authorities and for defending companies against mass claims brought by NGOs and consumer organisations seeking multi-million euro damages. In addition, he assists companies with high-risk data protection projects and data and cybersecurity breaches.
