About the IAPP

Jason has over 20 years of experience in privacy. He has worked for public bodies, private and non-profit health care organizations as well as consulted for a variety of private sector organizations. Jason is passionate about privacy, informed from his experience having been born and raised in South Africa where 80% of the population was excluded from democratic freedoms. In essence, Jason believes that privacy is fundamental for a fully functioning and robust democracy. Jason has been a member of the IAPP for several years and is very excited about volunteering for this great professional organization that continues to work for and encourage privacy excellence.
