About the IAPP

I’m Global Privacy Officer for American Express Global Business Travel, a new corporate travel spin-off of the 160-year-old financial brand. I’m hard at work creating their privacy programme and supporting the establishment of sustainable enterprise data business models. My experience and expertise is in guiding strategy around privacy risks, creating best practices in transparency and control, and interacting with policymakers and opinion-formers.



Before GBT, I was Vodafone Group’s global privacy counsel, where I led strategic privacy and public policy initiatives. Previously, I was global director of consumer privacy for eBay’s e-commerce, financial and online services around the world, and worked in privacy for an internet advertising company. I started my legal career as an associate in telecommunications, technology and privacy law at Willkie Farr and Gallagher in Washington, DC. And even earlier, I studied and worked in advertising and graphic arts – skills that come in handy when advising on privacy by design, privacy engagement, user interfaces and product development.
