Associate General Counsel, Privacy and AI

In her role as Senior Counsel at IBM, Katherine provides legal advice to the IBM Security business unit as it makes cybersecurity services and offerings available to external clients. She counsels IBM on legal issues associated with its own cybersecurity posture, and has served in IBM’s Privacy Office. She is an Adjunct Professor at the Woods College of Advancing Studies at Boston College, where she co-teaches a course on cybersecurity law and policy. Katherine also volunteers as a Response Team Member with ShelterBox, an international disaster relief organization that provides short-term shelter and recovery supplies to families rebuilding after natural and political disasters.
