Lori is a Certified Senior Privacy and Healthcare Leader with expertise in privacy law, regulatory compliance, and the evolving intersection of privacy and Artificial Intelligence (AI). She specializes in privacy impact assessments (PIAs), legislative analysis, and contractual compliance, supporting public sector organizations in navigating complex privacy and security challenges, including those emerging with AI technologies.
With a strong foundation in Ontario’s privacy laws, health information governance, and risk assessment, Lori provides strategic oversight on complex PIAs, ensuring organizations effectively manage privacy risks and regulatory obligations. She is also a dedicated mentor, coaching privacy professionals to develop their expertise and confidently navigate the complexities of privacy compliance.
Her work extends to privacy oversight in health system integration, supporting Ontario in addressing compliance challenges related to various privacy statuses such as prescribed entities, prescribed persons, health information network providers, electronic service providers, researchers, health information custodians, agents and related data governance. She plays a key role in ensuring transparency, mitigating risks, and aligning privacy policies with both legal requirements and organizational objectives.
