Scott Lyon is the Chief Privacy Officer and Associate General Counsel-Privacy for SHEIN, the global fashion and lifestyle e-retailer committed to making the beauty of fashion accessible to all. Prior to joining the fashion industry, Scott served as managing privacy counsel for companies in the financial services and real estate sectors. Licensed to practice law in California, he has also earned numerous legal and technical certifications relating to privacy and cybersecurity, including the American Bar Association's Privacy Law Specialist (PLS); IAPP's Certified Information Privacy Professional-US (CIPP/US), Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT), Fellow of Information Privacy (CIPT); CompTIA's PenTest+, CySA+ (cybersecurity analyst), Security+, and A+.
