Caitlin Pencarrick Hertzman (She/Her) works as a consultant to organizations in the private and public sector and specializes in developing and implementing Privacy Management and Accountability Programs, conducting assessments and managing access to information requests as well as incident response. She received her CIPP/C back in 2011, her CIPM in 2017 and is a Member of the IAPP’s Canadian Advisory Board. With a personal goal to contribute to a just and civil society, Caitlin prefers to work with organizations and not-for-profits that take concrete action for folks experiencing oppression or requiring additional supports to have equitable access to services that benefit our society as a whole. She has spent well over a decade as a privacy professional in areas such as health care, public interest research, regulatory enforcement and more.
