Amy de La Lama, CIPP/US
Amy de La Lama serves as the head of Baker McKenzie’s HealthTech Business Unit and is also a member of the firm’s North American Healthcare Steering Committee. She specializes in global privacy, data security and cyber security and provides advice to a wide range of pharmaceutical and medical device companies, health care providers, financial institutions, sourcing providers, retail companies, online businesses, and other organizations on these issues. She has significant experience advising clients on HIPAA related issues as well as GDPR and CCPA readiness and with preparation and implementation of broad-based privacy compliance programs. Amy also assists clients address federal, state and global breach notification requirements and respond to related inquiries from government agencies and other parties.
