About the IAPP

Jutta Williams is Head of Privacy at Bolt, a one-click, cross-marketplace commerce platform. Jutta works across all engineering and platform teams to implement privacy best practices. She joined Bolt in December 2020 after serving as the Product lead for ML Ethics and Responsible ML at Twitter. Jutta was formerly a Security Engineer and Product Manager for DoD working on crypto systems R&D projects, she later served as the Chief Privacy, Security and Compliance Officer for two large integrated healthcare companies. She was recruited to Silicon Valley in 2015 by Google where she led data protection for their Medical AI research team (later publicly launched as Google Health) and was a senior member of the technical staff at Facebook's Central Privacy and AI Infra org.  She was the inaugural Chairperson and Head of the US delegation to ISO for AI Standards. Jutta graduated with highest distinction from Carnegie Mellon University earning a MS in Information Security, Policy and Management. She has been a certified CIPP and member if IAPP since 2012.
