Justine Young Gottshall has extensive experience counseling clients on privacy, data security, technology, artificial intelligence (AI), information governance, consumer protection, and digital marketing and advertising issues. She works closely with clients as they prepare for, and implement, a multitude of new privacy legislation in the very active and ever-changing privacy law landscape. Justine is relied upon to implement internal processes and procedures and to build solutions that offer not just compliance, but also efficiency and business practicality. She has deep knowledge of online advertising, internal compliance policies, consumer policies, including web site policies, vendor management, and advises on privacy and security-related compliance strategies and programs. She also works closely with clients on technology matters, including artificial intelligence (AI), e-commerce, software licensing and “privacy by design” in the creation and launch of new products and services.

 

Justine has been recognized for 15+ years by Chambers and Partners. Her current rankings are in Chambers Global as a leader in Privacy and Data Security and in Chambers USA in the fields of Privacy and Data Security, AdTech and Media and Entertainment. She serves on the Board of Directors for Babyquip, is Co-Chair of the Lawyers on Boards Committee for the Stanford Women on Boards Initiative and is a founding member of Impact Grants Chicago.
