About the IAPP

Timothy Yim, CIPP/US/E/A, CIPT, CIPM, FIP, Privacy Law Specialist, is Senior Privacy Counsel at Snowflake and also serves as an education advisory board member for the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).* He has been in-house privacy counsel for various public companies, outside privacy counsel to fintech, health, and other startups, director for an academic privacy research center, and director of data privacy research and policy initiatives at an NPO. Timothy previously served on the IAPP Publications Advisory Board and as KnowledgeNet Chair for the San Francisco Bay area.
