About the IAPP

Amanda K. O’Keefe is a privacy, technology, and intellectual property attorney. Currently, she serves as Senior Vice President and Assistant General Counsel for Citigroup’s Global Technology and Intellectual Property Group and Global Privacy Group. In her years of practice, Amanda has advised start-up organizations as well as multinational publicly traded enterprises on global privacy and data security matters, successfully developing solutions to achieve compliance while fostering innovation. Amanda serves on the IAPP’s Education Advisory Board and is a KnowledgeNet co-chair for the Central Florida region. She is also an adjunct professor, teaching Business Law and Corporate Social Responsibility.

She is a graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law, and the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. Amanda is particularly interested in the intersection of privacy and human rights.
