About the IAPP

Danilo Doneda is a Lawyer and Professor at IDP, as well as Director at Cedis/IDP. He holds a PhD in Civil Law (State University of Rio de Janeiro). He is a member of the advisory boards of the United Nations Global Pulse Privacy Group and the Project Children and Consumption (Instituto Alana). He previously served as General Coordinator at the Ministry of Justice (Brazil). He was a visiting researcher at the Italian Data Protection Authority (Rome, Italy), University of Camerino (Camerino, Italy) and at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law (Hamburg, Germany).
