Jasmina Germanski is the Manager of Privacy and Information Security at Mackenzie Health. Jasmina has an interdisciplinary background in the fields of: Health Administration, Disaster and Emergency Management, Business Continuity, Health Law, Privacy, and Cybersecurity. Jasmina is an accomplished Privacy Leader with more than 10 years of experience in oversight and management of the Privacy, Freedom of Information, Information Security and Health Information Management Programs. She is responsible for the development and implementation of the privacy and information security program at the hospital including but not limited to; governance, policies and procedures, training and education, risk assessment, incident management and audit.



Jasmina is committed to ensuring the highest quality of services, mitigating risk and improving organizational reputation. In 2015 she successfully applied for and received a grant from the Ontario Centre of Excellence, partnered with the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario and the Ontario Hospital Association to seek innovative approaches to preventing privacy breaches in the health care sector. This led to the implementation of the first ever artificial Intelligence solution for monitoring unauthorized access to patient information in Ontario.



She holds a Bachelor of Health Studies in Health Management, a M.A in Disaster and Emergency Management, a certificate in Health Care Law and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Canada.
