About the IAPP

Janice Carling, LL.M., CIPP/E, is Regional Privacy Counsel at Teva Pharmaceuticals, providing privacy legal advice to all areas of Teva’s global business, including R&D, IT, HR, digital/commercial/marketing, medical, and corporate/transactions. Janice is an active member of the EFPIA Data Governance Working Group and participates in other European and international forums for data protection specialists, especially in the life sciences industry. Although born and raised in Canada, following graduation from McGill University Law, Janice moved to Europe where she has so far lived in Sweden, Switzerland and Italy.
