Brenda Leong, AIGP, CIPP/US

Brenda Leong is Director of the AI Division at ZwillGen PLLC, a boutique law firm representing leading technology companies on a wide range of internet-related legal issues, including cybersecurity and privacy. The AI Division focuses on developing policies and practices around AI governance, including applying red teaming and benchmarking Generative AI, developing model risk management frameworks, performing model audits, and creating de-identification architecture and certification. Previously, Brenda was Managing Partner at Luminos.Law, a boutique law firm focused solely on AI and machine learning technologies. Prior to that, Brenda was senior counsel and director of AI and ethics at the Future of Privacy Forum, where she oversaw the development and analysis of AI and ML resources. She is an expert on the responsible use of biometrics, with a focus on facial recognition, facial analysis, and emerging issues around voice-operated systems. Before attending law school, Brenda served a career in the US Air Force. She is a 2014 graduate of George Mason University School of Law.
