About the IAPP

A consummate "techie," early adopter, and entrepreneur, Dale Smith's IT software career spans mainframe computing, minicomputers, PCs, retail/point of sale, internet, mobile computing, cloud computing and (most recently) privacy enhancing technology.



Since co-founding PrivacyCheq in 2013, Smith's focus has been on building and implementing general software solutions for the privacy industry, and (more recently) practical, "rubber-on-the-road" solutions for implementing and operationalizing GDPR-mandated notice, consent, rights, and recordkeeping.
