Brandon Reilly, CIPP/US

Brandon Reilly is a privacy and data security attorney in Manatt, Phelps & Phillips’ Orange County office, counseling businesses and other organizations on a wide range of issues in the privacy, data security, and consumer financial services spaces. In this area, he advises clients on security incident investigation, containment, and mitigation; managing data breach responses; and assisting impacted entities before and during litigation, regulatory inquiry, and government enforcement. Brandon is a Certified Information Privacy Professional for the U.S. Private Sector (CIPP/US) and an active member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
Also a civil litigator with broad experience in federal and state courts, Brandon has significant experience litigating on behalf of a wide range of businesses, including in banking, mortgage lending and servicing, auto finance, retail and e-commerce, payment card industry, energy, vehicle manufacturing, and on behalf of sovereign Native American nations. Additionally, Brandon has extensive experience advising financial services companies on regulatory compliance and representing them in government enforcement actions and monitoring. He is the coordinator for Manatt’s veterans’ benefits and discharge upgrades pro bono practice, and regularly provides pro bono representation in that area. Brandon is a graduate of the University of Southern California Law School and Pepperdine University.
