Joseph Cvelbar, CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT, FIP
Joe currently works at Deloitte’s Cyber Risk Advisory group, and has been working in the data privacy field full time data for over 15 years.
As a former Data Protection Officer and Privacy Officer at large multinational corporations, Joe has extensive experience in data privacy, data security, and compliance in in the consumer, financial services, and technology industries.
Experienced with privacy program creation, and development, Joe also has experience with privacy program assessment and audit, strategic planning, privacy training, incidence response and breach notification. Additionally, Joe has experience with CCPA and GDPR implementation, data privacy impact assessments, and regulator (US and EU) relationships.
Joe holds both a BA and JD degree, and he is a certified as CIPP/US, CIPT, and FIP, and is active in the IAPP as a co-chair of the South Florida KnowledgeNet Chapter.
