About the IAPP

Maureen Dry-Wasson is Vice President – Group General Counsel and Global Privacy Officer at Allegis Group, Inc. and is General Counsel & Secretary for Major, Lindsey & Africa, an Allegis Group company. Mrs. Dry-Wasson has received her Fellow of Information Privacy and privacy certifications through the IAPP for the US, Canada, Europe and Privacy Management and served as one of the first co-chairs of the Baltimore Knowledge Net chapter. She has been a member of the IAPP Women Leading Privacy Advisory Board since 2020. She has been an in-house attorney for more than 20 years and established and leads the Allegis Group Global Privacy Office. She has been an active member of the Association of Corporate Counsel (“ACC”) serving as President of the Baltimore Chapter, member of the Nominating Committee for the ACC National Board as well as member of the editorial board of ACC Docket. Mrs. Dry-Wasson recently became Chairman of the In-house Benefits Counsel Network (“IBCN”), a non-profit group dedicated to serving the needs of in-house attorneys who practice benefits law and previously served as its Vice-Chairman since 2013. 

Mrs. Dry-Wasson earned a J.D., with Honor, from the University of Maryland, and a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from the University of Virginia. She is admitted to the Bars of Maryland and the District of Columbia.
