Lana is an empathetic and impact-focused executive leader with international experience (deploying impactful programs, landing global projects, and establishing connections with brilliant people in the US, Russia, India, Canada, Ireland, South Africa, Singapore, Argentina, Egypt, and Czech Republic). She has multiple decades of hands-on experience building global enterprise-wide functions and programs from the ground up, and leading, planning & executing projects in a variety of industries, ranging from aviation to software, to manufacturing, to telecom and education. She has made breakthrough impacts in the fields of data privacy and data governance. She has earned and been awarded the Six Sigma, Fellow in Information Privacy, CIPP, CIPM, CISA and ITIL Foundations certifications, and is a member of the Digital Marketing Association, Institute of Internal Auditors, the International Association of Privacy Professionals, as well as the IT Compliance Institute. She received an MBA in International Business and a BA in Management Information Systems from Washington State University (summa cum laude) in 2003. Lana is passionate about advancing the representation of women and allies in technology and ensure the culture of belonging, psychological safety and inclusivity wherever her life takes her.
