Ben Hayes is the North America data privacy lead at Accenture. His role encompasses compliance functions, subject matter expertise, privacy by design, incident response and global coordination. He works on issues pertaining to cloud, mobility, analytics, marketing, health and the deployment of new technologies. Prior to joining Accenture in 2006, Hayes spent almost seven years practicing privacy law at K&L Gates, then Kirkpatrick & Lockhart. He is a graduate of the Ohio State College of Law where he was a first-generation student of Professor Peter Swire, and of the University of Vermont, where he earned his BA in English and Anthropology.
