About the IAPP

Edward Holman is Associate General Counsel, Global Privacy at Tesla in Palo Alto, California, where he advises the company on international privacy compliance efforts. Prior to joining Tesla, Edward was a Counsel in the Privacy & Cybersecurity group at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he advised and defended dozens of clients in complex privacy, data security, advertising, and other related investigations by the FTC, FCC, state Attorneys General, Congress, international data protection regulators, and self-regulatory organizations. He also has extensive experience advising clients on privacy risks associated with proposed products, features, and data sharing agreements regarding online services, apps, and connected devices, including recommending practical privacy by design solutions. Edward is a Certified Information Privacy Professional for the United States (CIPP/US).
