Marnita Robertson, J.D., LL.M, CIPP/US, CIPM, FIP

President, Robertson Law, LLC



Marnita is currently the president of Robertson Law, LLC.  Marnita focuses on data privacy issues with an emphasis on compliance as well as technology transaction matters.  Prior to starting her own practice, Marnita was Director, Information Technology Attorney for UPS. Marnita Robertson provided legal support for UPS' Information Technology division including the Technology Global Sourcing group. This group was responsible for the acquisition of significant technology used by UPS in its global operations including telecommunications services, software licensing, customized hardware acquisitions, outsourcing and intellectual property rights.  Marnita served on the UPS Information Security Committee and worked with other data privacy professionals to ensure compliance with various data privacy laws. Marnita negotiates complex technology contracts and advises on a broad array of technology related issues including data privacy, data security, e-commerce, cloud services, and software compliance.  Marnita has a Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall Law School, a LL.M from Lazarski University (Poland) and a B.A from Rutgers University.
