Global Privacy Program Manager

Kirsten McMullen is the Global Privacy Program Manager for Gen Digital, a family of global consumer Cyber Safety brands such as Norton, LifeLock, Avast, Avira, and Reputation Defender. She is responsible for development and implementation of the centralized privacy program and works on issues relating to privacy, data protection, AI data governance and ethical use of data in partnership with a fabulous team of engineers, product managers, researchers, lawyers, and compliance professionals. Prior to joining Gen, Kirsten was Chief Privacy Officer at 4INFO, a mobile advertising technology company, later acquired by Cadent. During that time, she developed U.S. telecom industry regulatory standards for SMS short code advertising programs and was a key contributor to the first-ever Digital Advertising Association Self-Regulatory Guidelines for Online Behavioral Advertising on mobile devices. Proud to have been an advocate for privacy of mobile data since before the iPhone was invented!
