About the IAPP

Mark Pike is the Director, Sr. Corporate Counsel (Product) at Slack, where he's worked since 2016. He partners closely with Slack’s product teams as they build new features to ensure Slack is meeting customer expectations and business requirements. Mark sometimes refers to himself as an "emoji-at-law." Prior to joining Slack, he worked at Facebook and focused on platform policy, intellectual property, and privacy issues. Mark received an A.B. degree in Public Policy Studies at Duke University and a J.D. from William & Mary Law School.
